Books – Follow The Line

Follow the LineFollow The Line, by Laura Ljungkvist. Another one of my random purchases – I liked the cover. I bought. I know you should never judge a book it’s cover (and I have failed on that count several times before), but I wasn’t disappointed this time. What a beautiful book. Reminiscent of child activity books where you “follow a line” to take you somewhere, you follow a line through a day. One line forms the basis of all the pages (there are more than one line). A short story accompanies it and you get to do little activities like count the flowers or find the cars with their headlights on. I thought this book would be “too old” for Red Ted (he is 2). But no, he seems to LOVE it.  And loves going back to certain pages and just looking at the pictures. I definitely want to get another one of these – just, WHICH ONE?! Mmmh.
